BAOBAB Cities Damasse Candle Max 16

Damask is a monochrome silk velvet and satin fabric characterized by a difference in brightness between the background and the woven design. The origin of this fabric, as its name indicates, comes from the city of Damascus. Discovered and exported in the 12th century by Marco Polo during one of his expeditions to the Middle East, it became a coveted material for great Venetian merchants. This matte and shiny weaving technique remains complex, and its patterns are often floral in nature, representing a stylized orchid.

Bergamot, Cedar, Musk: The fragrance of musk, bergamot and cedar will whisk you away to the refined atmosphere of Italian palaces.
